Questions

What clients ask before they book.

Which stylist should I book?

Start with the lane that matches what you want: cut and shape, color, or texture and curl. Each stylist's card says what they focus on. If you aren't sure, book a consultation with any stylist in the lane and they will tell you who fits.

Whose rules apply, the hall's or the stylist's?

Both. The hall sets the hours, the building and how we treat each other. Each stylist is an independent business and sets their own prices, deposit and notice for canceling.

Do I need a consultation before my first visit?

For color, braids and twists, yes: your stylist wants to see your hair and hear its history first. For a cut it's optional, and the menu lists a short cut consultation.

How long will my appointment take?

Every service on the menu lists its time. Clipper cuts are among the shortest, a silk press takes about two hours, and a balayage or a full head of braids can take most of a day.

Can I bring a friend or a child?

A friend is welcome to sit in the waiting area. Children are welcome with an adult, and your stylist can tell you which services suit them.

What if I need to cancel or I'm running late?

Each stylist sets their own notice, and it shows on their booking page. If you're late, call the hall at (518) 555-0106 and we will pass it on.

How much will it cost?

Each stylist sets their own prices, and the booking page shows the price for the stylist and service you choose. The pricing page explains what moves a price.

Can I walk in without an appointment?

On Saturdays and Sundays, when a stylist has an opening. On other days, please book. The front desk can tell you who has time.

Where do I park?

There is a lot behind the building and parking along North Seventh Street. Enter on North Seventh Street.

Can I see a stylist's work first?

Yes. The gallery shows work from the hall, and each stylist's card links to their booking page.
